What are some good flight simulators for windows 7 ?

-Well you can always go with the old standard Microsoft Flight Simulator X (MFSX). It is easy to install and fairly cheap, but you are somewhat limited. X Plane is another great program, although slightly more expensive than MFSX. X Plane was designed to run on Macs but also works well in Windows. X Plane has a ton of additional livery, airports, and aircraft/helicopters available to download from the site (x-plane.com). X Plane is very realistic (you can set various emergency situations like bird strikes and engine fires, as well as weather conditions and instrument failures while taking off/landing), and a version of it is certified by the FAA for flight training. Also, check out http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flight_simu鈥?/a> for some other great programs compatible with Windows 7.1. There aren't many, but the Microsoft Flight Simulator series are definetely worth the time.
