Xbox Live and mortal kombat 9 online?

-Hello all.Im gonna buy a Xbox 360 and my country isnt in the list(im from Bulgaria) so im gonna register like im from UK.They sell gold membership cards in my country,I will be able to use them right?And if I want to buy MS points do i need british credit card?Im also gonna buy mortal kombat 9 and i wonder is it laggy in online mode?
