Xbox freezes up when i sign into my account?

-im trying to play gears of war 2 but when i sign in on my account it freezes up but when my bro signs in when playing gears of war 2 it doesn't. its only happening to my account and only on gears of war 2. all my other games work but gears of war 2. anyone know how to fix this????????
