My minecraft is Super!!! laggy!!!?

-recenty my minecraft became super laggy and I

have tryed puting my render distance down and I have tryed creating a new map but nothing is seeming to work would my mods be anything to do with it though ave had them for agesYou could possibly try uninstalling the mods to see if it makes a difference. If not, I find a mod called Optimine really helpful for increasing fps and reducing lag.
