Can you replace a ps3 slim cd rom drive with one out of a old 60 gb ps3 ?

-i have a 320gb ps3 slim and the cr part is broken it wont grab the disc at all and makes a noise when i turn it on is there a easy fix for it ? and can you replace it ?
